Lamb Naan Pizza Recipe


An easy gourmet recipe at home that’ll beat take-out’s any night of the week. Lamb Naan pizza courtesy of James Smith, The Tattooed Butcher.


Makes 2-3 Pizzas

500g lamb mince
2 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Cracked pepper
2 tbsp Culley’s lamb rub
2 Naan breads
100g Tomato puree/paste
150g Mozzarella cheese
50g Freshly chopped coriander
1 Red onion sliced
150g Garlic yoghurt sauce
100g Pomegranate seeds


  1. Heat a frying pan to high with Olive Oil. Prepare your pit or preheat an oven to 180® on fan bake.

  2. Combine the lamb mince, salt, pepper & lamb rub into the frying pan and cook for roughly 7-8 minutes or until browned.

  3. Spread a layer of tomato puree on the base of your naan bread, followed by the mozzarella, lamb mince & red onion.

  4. Transfer to your pit or oven and cook for 10mins.

  5. Remove the pizza naan and drizzle garlic yoghurt sauce with a generous sprinkle of chopped coriander and pomegranate seeds over the top before serving.
